How to do a complete Chromecast with Google TV (HD Version, 1080p, Android TV 12) setup to make the Liqvid app successful

*Please note that Chromecast with Google TV (HD Version, 1080p, Android TV 12) should only be connected to the mains and not use the USB port of the TV itself

1. How to enable Liqvid Live app autorun

  • Go to Settings

  • Go to the Apps option

  • Go to the Special app access option

  • Go to the Display over other apps option

  • Find the Liqvid app and enable the Display over other apps option

2. Disable the Energy optimization option for the Liqvid Live app

  • Go back to the Special app access option and open the Energy optimization option

  • Find the Liqvid Live app in the list and turn off the Energy optimization option

3. Enable Stay awake option

  • Go to Settings

  • Go to the System

  • Go to About

  • Go to the Build number

Tap Build number seven times. After the first few taps, you should see the steps counting down until you unlock the developer options.

Once developer options are activated, you will see a message that reads, You are now a developer!

  • Return to Device Preferences

  • Go to the Developer options section and enable the option Stay awake

4. Turn off HDMI CEC (CEC Control)

  • Go to Settings

  • Go to Display & Sound

  • Go to HDMI-CEC

  • Turn off Enable HDMI-CEC:

5. Return to the desktop with the Home button using the remote control of your device and launch the Liqvid Live app
